Biodata

Dr Tan Li Wei is a consultant with the Department of Cardiology. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2010. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, where he served as chief resident, and was conferred the Master of Medicine in Internal Mediicne from the National University of Singapore, and Membership ofthe Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2014. He completed his cardiology senior residency in National University Heart Centre, Singapore in 2018. He subsequently underwent a 2-year fellowship training program at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Canada, in adult cardiac electrophysiology.

He is a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and adjunct teaching faculty at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at the Nanyang Technological University.

His subspecialty interests are in cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac implantable electronic devices and electrophysiology. He currently leads the arrhythmia service in Woodlands Health and performs electrophysiology procedures as a visiting consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and National University Heart Centre,Singapore.
