Dr Shikhare is a Senior Consultant, Lead Cardiothoracic imaging at the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, India, and pursued his career in Radiology and completed DMRD and DNB in Radiodiagnosis from India. Keen to expand his work experience, he moved to Singapore and while working at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, successfully completed M Med, Diagnostic Radiology, at NUS, Singapore and FRCR, UK in 2012. He then completed his AST training in Diagnostic Radiology at Khoo Teck Puat hospital (KTPH) in 2015 and joined KTPH as a specialist radiologist in 2015. His special interest is in Cardiac and thoracic imaging for which he did 1-year HMDP fellowship in Cardiothoracic imaging at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada in 2019-2020. He has level III certification in cardiac MR from Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic resonance and his work domain involves body imaging, Chest and Cardiac imaging.
