Biodata
Dr Shaun Chan graduated from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2012. He subsequently completed his specialty training in General Surgery and was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2021. He is currently appointed as a Consultant in the Department of Surgery, Woodlands Health. His clinical interests include diabetic foot salvage, open and endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms, management of superficial and deep venous disease, renal vascular access creation as well as emergency general surgical work.
He is currently a member of the Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons of Singapore (SVESS). He is also accredited by the American Board of Wound Management as a Certified Wound Specialist Physician.
Having been inspired by several clinician-educators in his formative years, he maintains a keen interest in medical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He serves as a clinical lecturer for both the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and has won several teaching awards.
