Biodata

Dr Sean Ong graduated from the School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, in 2008, obtained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2012 and obtained his board certification in Hand Surgery in Singapore in 2018.

He had been practicing in Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a consultant in the Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery prior to Woodlands Health. He demonstrates high standards of clinical care and shows excellent clinical judgment in his assessment of hand trauma & elective surgeries. His areas of interest are arthroscopic wrist surgery and minimally invasive nerve surgery particularly endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery. Dr Ong is also actively involved in education and is a clinical tutor for both the YLL School of Medicine and the LKC School of Medicine.

Dr Ong speaks English and Mandarin.
