Dr Junagade completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, India in the year 2003. Subsequently, he did his post graduation in Internal Medicine from Seth G. S. Medical College, KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 2004. He then proceeded to UK to complete his MRCP (UK) in 2006.

He then moved to Singapore and gained further experience in Cardiology at National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) and obtained his Certificate of Specialist Accreditation in Cardiology in the year 2012. He further completed his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at NUHCS in 2013 and 2014.

Dr Junagade speaks English, Hindi and Marathi.
