Upon graduation in 2014, Dr Robert Burgess honed his skills with the multidisciplinary specialist team in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital before serving as the Dental Officer-in-Charge at the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, Woodlands, where he supervised junior dental officers on top of his clinical work. Dr Burgess subsequently worked in a busy private practice from 2018 to 2020.

These collective rich experiences not only sharpened his ability to develop and execute complex dental treatment plans and procedures, they also led him to pursue his passion in the field of Endodontics, which he obtained a Master’s degree for in 2023. He now devotes his clinical work to the full scope of root canal treatment that includes endodontic microsurgery, management of cracked teeth, dental trauma, failed endodontic treatment and endodontic complications.

Dr Burgess enjoys helping and working with his patients to maintain their natural teeth as part of a holistic healthcare approach. He is also passionate about sharing and deepening his knowledge in endodontics with his colleagues, and has been invited to overseas conferences for talks and presentations.

Dr Burgess is fluent in English and Mandarin.
