Dr Ray Lin practices Infectious Diseases Medicine with special clinical interests in infections in the immunocompromised and critically ill, antimicrobial stewardship, and emerging infectious diseases.
Dr Lin graduated from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2009 with the Book Prize in Infectious Diseases. He subsequently went on to train in Infectious Diseases (ID) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and completed his specialist training in 2017.
He was a consultant at TTSH from 2017-2021, where he was heavily involved in the ICU-ID Multidisciplinary service and the Haematology-ID Immunocompromised Host Multidisciplinary Rounds. In addition, he was the Deputy Head of the Outbreak Preparedness Training Committee at the National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID), which oversees the training of healthcare workers for the High Level Isolation Unit (HLIU).
Since 2021, Dr Lin has been appointed as the Head of the Infectious Disease Service at Woodlands Health. In addition, he is currently leading the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Office, Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP), and the Pandemic Preparedness Training program at Woodlands Health.
Dr Lin speaks English, Mandarin, and Hokkien.
