Dr Randal Low is currently a Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at Woodlands Health. His clinical interests are in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation, incuding complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), mechanical circulatory support (MCS) and chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions.
Dr Low graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) in 2009 and was conferred Membership of Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2016. He was accredited as a Cardiologist by the MOH Specialist Accreditation Board in 2020, following completion of residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology under the National Healthcare Group (NHG). He subsequently underwent subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital from 2020-2023, before embarking on an advanced fellowship at the Guys' and St Thomas' NHS in London in 2024 under the MOH HMDP scholarship, with a focus on complex high risk PCI and CTO interventions.
Dr Low currently serves as the Head of the Interventional Cardiology service. He also leads the Cardiac Rehabilitation programme.
He is an appointed clinical lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) and adjunct teaching faculty at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (NTU). He actively engages in research and regularly participates in several international conferences as speaker and panelist.
Dr Low speaks English, Mandarin and Hokkien.
