Dr Rabind Charles practises Emergency Medicine with special clinical interests in emergency cardiac care, oobservation medicine and Undergraduate Education. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor with YLL School of Medicine and enjoys teaching medical students. He is also the Chief Examiner of the Emergency Medicine ABMS exams for Singapore. He also chairs the code blue committee for Woodlands Hospital.

He completed his specialist training in 2003 and did a 1-year fellowship in Emergency Cardiac Care and Observation Medicine at the Alfred Hospital (Melbourne, Australia) He has won teaching awards in undergraduate education.

Dr Charles speaks English and Malay.
