Biodata

Dr Pipetius Quah is both a respiratory and intensive care physician with special clinical interests in Tuberculosis, Advanced Diagnostic Bronchoscopy, and Pleural Diseases.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2013. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2017.

Dr Quah underwent training in Internal Medicine and Senior Residency training in Respiratory Medicine at the National University Hospital, Singapore 2017-2020 During his training, Dr Quah was Associate Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Programme and Chief Resident of the Respiratory Medicine programme. He also participated in the Singapore Chief Residency Programme. Dr Quah completed his subspecialty training in Intensive Care Medicine in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Some prizes he has won include the Young Clinician Mentor Award from NUHS in 2020. He is extremely passionate about education and has been consistently sought-after tutor by junior physicians.
