Dr Oliver Yiu is a Senior Consultant from Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, who has over 25 years experience in the field. A graduate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, his career is marked by significant contributions to the field of Orthopaedic through his clinical practice, teaching roles, leadership positions and humanitarian experience.

A pioneer in the development of percutaneous plate reduction techniques in Hong Kong, the technique sigificantly reduces wound complication rate related to trauma surgery, and enhances the recovery of patients significantly in terms of speed and final outcomes. He is also well versed in microvascular surgery, which has enable him to reduce major amputation rates through active reconstructive surgery in diabetic foot conditions. He is also an expert in minimally invasive hand and arthroscopic assisted wrist reconstruction.
