Dr Nishini practices Palliative & Supportive Care medicine with a special clinical interest in Medical Education. She is also trained and accredited in Internal Medicine.

She believes in treating both the patient and their family as a whole, while endeavoring to build meaningful relationships with them.

Dr Nishini received the NHG Teaching Award for Senior Doctors in 2022 and is an ACLS Instructor.​

She speaks English, Sinhalese, Basic Malay and Mandarin.​
