Dr Boxall is a UK trained renal specialist. He achieved UK specialist accreditation in both renal, and general internal medicine in 2007 and has extensive clincal experience in both specilaities. In the UK Dr Boxall worked in North Cumbria as a Consultant Renal and General Medicine physician, and held the position of Clinical Director of Renal Medicine until moving to Singapore in 2014 to take up a Consultant position in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Dr Boxall has been involved in the planning of renal services in Woodlands from 2019 and joined Woodlands health as Head of the Renal Medicine service in 2021.

Dr Boxall has actively participated in research and teaching thoughout his career and holds academic teaching appointments in both LKC and YYL medical schools in Singapore. His focus however is on delivering excellent, holistic, patient centred clinical care by building longterm collaborative relationships with patients, their families and their carers. Dr Boxall has specialist interests in Hemodialysis, General Nephrology and Acute Kidney Injury.
