Biodata

Dr Marcus Lee practices Orthopaedic Surgery with a special clinical interest in sports injuries. In particular, he regularly performs surgical procedures including but not limited to knee, shoulder and elbow arthroscopies, joint-preserving cartilage procedures, knee joint realignment surgeries such as osteotomies, and shoulder replacements.

Dr Lee graduated from University College London (UCL) and thereafter commenced his residency with the National Health Group where he was elected chief resident of the Orthopaedic residency programme. Subsequently, he obtained his Masters of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) from National University Singapore (NUS) and is an accredited specialist and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Lee is also an avid sportsman and previously represented Singapore in swimming. His love for sports has led him to specialise in Orthopaedic sports surgery. He is passionate in helping patients return to their pre-injury level of sporting prowess, prolong their sporting longevity and maintain an excellent quality of life.

He currently holds academic positions with both NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and is committed to mentoring and nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
