Dr Shahid is a Resident Physician II in department of internal medicine at Woodlands Health.

Dr Shahid obtained his basic medical qualification (MBBS) from Rawalpindi Medical College under University of Health Sciences Lahore, Pakistan in 2007. In 2014, he acquired post-graduate qualification, MRCP from UK. He served in MOH Saudi Arabia as internal medicine resident and later as specialist.

In December 2020, he joined Woodlands Health and nested at KTPH.

Dr Shahid enjoys working in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team of health care professionals. He facilitates advanced care planning discussions with patients and their families. He believes in patient- centred care with compassion, sympathy and respect. His key interests are gastroenterology, pulmonology and endocrinology. He is eager to progress in his career at Woodlands Health.
