Dr Liyana practises Palliative & Supportive Care medicine with special clinical interests in Medical Education and Communications. She is also trained and accredited in Internal Medicine.

She believes that excellent communication with patients and their loved ones forms the foundation of good medicine.

She also has a special interest in advance care planning and in educating colleagues and students about palliative care.

Dr Liyana speaks English and Malay.
