Biodata

Dr Lim Wei Yang is both a respiratory and intensive care physician with special clinical interests in lung function and exercise testing.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2014. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2018 and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2018.

Prior to joining Woodlands Health, he completed his junior residency in internal medicine in NUH in 2019 before going on to complete his senior residency in respiratory medicine in 2022 in NUH. He served as the Chief Resident of the Respiratory Medicine program during his training. He completed his Intensive Care Medicine training in 2023.

Dr Lim has won several awards, including the residency excellence award in 2018, medical jeopardy champion in the 4th NUHS-Harvard BIDMC conference in 2019, and certificate of appreciation for best senior resident tutor award in 2020, amongst others.

He speaks English and Mandarin.
