Dr Lokesh did his MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2010 and arrived in Singapore in the same year.

Dr Lokesh joined Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) Emergency Department as a MOPEX in 2011, he joined KTPH as a Resident Physician from 2013-2017. During this period, he completed his Diploma in Emergency Medicine, Staff Registrar Scheme by the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2016 and obtained Membership of Royal College of Emergency Medicine in 2016.

Subsequently, he attended additional training in the Emergency Medicine Residency under National Healthcare Group from 2017-2022, where he served as a chief resident and vice president of the residency council in 2020-2021.

Dr Lokesh joined WH in 2022 and he is currently Associate Program Director for clinical associates in the Emergency Department and has been tasked to be the Program Director for incoming MOPEX.

He also serves the roles as ACLS, ATLS, APLS instructor as well as clinical faculty for NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLL).
