Dr Pillay is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in foot and ankle surgery which includes deformity correction, management of trauma, arthritis, diabetes and minimally invasive surgery. She completed her residency training locally and is an accredited specialist and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine Singapore. She is also actively involved in teaching medical students from NTU and NUS as well as residents.

Dr Pillay speaks English, Tamil and Malay.
