Dr Pakiam is an Associate Consultant with the General Paediatrics Service in KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She graduated from Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine in 2015. She received her post-graduate specialist training in Paediatric Medicine (SingHealth), and was awarded the combined Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) and Membership of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH,UK) in 2019. She attained accreditation as a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine in 2023. She is actively involved in Paediatric medical education for undergraduate students and continued postgraduate education for residents, nurses and community health visitors, and has a special clinical interest in patient advocacy.
