Dr Javaid is a UK-trained specialist with dual renal and general medicine accreditations. He has extensive and wide-ranging clinical experience in both specialties. Dr Javaid has previously worked as a consultant nephrologist and physician in the UK and Australia, and as a consultant nephrologist in National University Hospital in Singapore.

Dr Javaid has also actively participated in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and clinical research. He has published several papers in international medical journals and has held academic appointments at reputed universities in Singapore and Australia.

Dr Javaid joined Woodlands Health in May 2023 as senior consultant in renal medicine. He provides high-quality and patient-centered specialist general nephrology services. Dr Javaid will lead the Chronic Kidney Disease service for Woodlands Health.
