Dr Jaryl Cheng obtained his specialist accreditation in general gastroenterology and hepatology after completion of his training in the National Healthcare Group Gastroenterology Residency Programme. He is currently a consultant in the field of general gastroenterology and hepatology with special interest in endoscopic resection of early gastrointestinal cancers in particular EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection) and ESD (endoscopic submucosal dissection).

In addition, he serves as a Clinical Teacher at both undergraduate medical schools in Singapore.

Dr Cheng speaks English and Mandarin.
