Dr Goh Soon Keng is accredited in Respiratory Medicine, Internal Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1986 and completed his specialist training in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at both the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

In 2003 Dr. Goh was awarded the Commendation Medal at the National Day Awards for his role in managing patients with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome.

He speaks English, Malay, and Hokkien.
