    Biodata

    Dr Goh E Shaun obtained his basic medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2002. Thereafter he returned to Singapore and enrolled in specialist training. He obtained membership in Royal College of Surgeons in 2007 and subsequently completed specialist training in 2010. He was enrolled as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2011.

    Dr Goh was one of the pioneer specialists in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital since it opened in 2010. That time he was involved in setting up of the Emergency Department and Trauma services. He also served as the Chairman of the trauma committee in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital from 2013 until 2015 and had helped to establish a successful trauma service. He has also completed a Healthcare Manpower Development Program in Trauma, obtaining a Masters in Trauma Science in 2013and was an Honorary Consultant at the Royal London Hospital in United Kingdom.

    In 2015, Dr Goh was appointed as Head and Managing Parner of Raffles Hospital Emergency Department. There, he was tasked in setting up an emergency service in the first private hospital in Singapore to receive public ambulances. During his time as head, he had set up the acute STEMI, stroke and Trauma pathways among several others. He also served as the Trauma Director at Raffles Hospital until 2020. In 2020 he joined Woodlands Health Campus as a Senior Consultant in Emergency Department. He currently also serves as deputy chair of the trauma committee.

    Dr Goh has also served in Ministry of Health since 2010 as a part time consultant under Hospital Services Division and Unit for Prehospital Emergency Care (UPEC). Currently he leads in the Standards and Professional division in UPEC. He is one of the key clinical leads in the design and subsequent implementation for standards of Emergency Ambulances and Medical Transport Services. He has also contributed in audits and review committees for prehospital situations and for the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
