Biodata
Dr Gerard Yeo is a Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at Woodlands Health. His clinical interests lie in multimodality cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography, as well as cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
Dr Yeo graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2011. He was then conferred his Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore, as well as Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2015. He was accredited as a Cardiologist by the Specialist Accreditation Board in 2021, following completion of his Senior Residency in Cardiology under the National Healthcare Group. After his post-graduate training in cardiac imaging, he obtained Testamur status in the Examination of Special Competence in Adult Echocardiography in 2023, as well as becoming a Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology in 2024.
Dr Yeo is involved in the training and teaching of junior doctors and medical students. He is an appointed Content Expert and Clinical Teacher for undergraduates at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, as well as the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at the Nanyang Technological University. He has also been designated as an Associate Programme Director of the National Healthcare Group Cardiology Senior Residency programme.
