    Dr Christopher Wong is Senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine with special clinical interests in Paediatric Emergencies, as well as Primary Health Care, in particular its interaction with Tertiary Care.

    Dr Wong obtained his medical degree from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 1994. He has been started training in Emergency Medicine in Singapore from 1996. Starting as a resident and eventually obtaining his full specialist accreditation in General as well as Paediatric Emergency Medicine in 2005. During his training, he rotated to various Public Health Institution, with much of it spent in KK Children's Hospital for his subspecialization in Paediatric Emergency Practice, where he eventually worked as a specialist.

    Dr Wong migrated to Australia shortly after, where he continued to practice General Emergency Medicine in the capacity of a specialist both in the public and private Emergency Medicine setting, in metropolitan Sydney. In Australia, Dr Wong, developed an appreciation of the Primary and Tertiary Care synergy, as well in depth inpatient care of various specialties. Dr Wong was part of the hospital's committee to modernize medical record keeping, from hand written to computer entry. He was also part of a start up in a telehealth collaboration.

    Dr Wong returned to Singapore in 2019 upon signing up with Woodlands Health.
