Dr Thilini graduated from Faculty of Medicine and Allied sciences, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. She was a temporary lecturer in Department of Family medicine Rajarata University and contributed to research on CKDu in North Central Province Sri Lanka. She completed internship in Paediatrics and Gynaecology and Obstetrics attached to professorial Unit, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. There after she worked as Medical Officer in radiology attached to District General Hospital, Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. Dr. Chathurika has experience in Internal Medicine as a Senior Medical Officer for more than 6 years. She was a Medical Officer in Anaesthesia and Intensive care attached to Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka before joining to Woodlands.

In addition, Dr Thilini is an undergraduate in Computer Science in University of Westminster (UK). She has special interest in Internal Medicine, Data Science and AI. She is a regular volunteer Blood donor and volunteered doctor for Covid 19 management during the Covid 19 pandemic in Sri Lanka.

Dr Thilini speaks English, Sinhala, Tamil and Danish.
