Dr Barimala Kumaresh practices general Ophthalmology. She graduated from AIMST University, Malaysia and started her career in Ophthalmology in 2014 at Sultanah Aminah Hospital, Johor.

Dr Barimala was the Johor State Manager for National Eye Database for Cataract Registry in 2021-2023 and joined Woodlands Health in April 2023 as a Clinical Associate.

Dr Barimala was awarded the Excellent Service Award in 2012 and 2015.

Dr Kumaresh speaks English, Malay, Tamil and Hindi.
