Dr Yong Fok Chuan received his medical degree from the then University of Singapore in 1975. He further received postgraduate training in Surgery and is now a Specialist in Hand Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow, Scotland; and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

• Member of Medical Specialist Panel for Hand Surgery, Workmen's Compensation Medical Board, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore

In addition to his Hand Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery in general, Dr Yong has special interest in Surgery of the Paralytic Upper Limb in Brachial Plexus Injury, Obstetrical Brachial Palsy, Tetraplegia / Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, and Brain Injury.
