Biodata

Dr Yap Kim Hoong is a Senior Consultant Pulmonologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He graduated from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2001. In 2012, he completed postgraduate specialist training in Respiratory Medicine and was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, in the same year.

In 2013, he underwent subspecialty fellowship training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia, under MOH's Health Manpower Development Plan. His subspecialty interests include pleural diseases, thoracic oncology, and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS).

Beyond clinical practice, he teaches medical students and serves as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the NUS's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at NTU's Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
