Dr Jieli Tong is a Consultant Cardiologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. She helped establish the Cardio-Oncology service and co-leads the Heart-Valve multidisciplinary rounds. Her core areas are cardio-oncology, advanced echocardiography, and valvular heart disease.
Dr Tong's work centres on cancer therapy–related cardiovascular care and valve disease. She reviews patients for the Cardio-Oncology service in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supports survivorship follow-up, and offers imaging-guided input for complex treatment decisions. Her echocardiography practice spans transthoracic and transoesophageal studies, stress and 3D imaging, contrast and strain analysis, and the considered use of AI tools, with imaging support for structural interventions where appropriate.
Supported by a Human Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Award, Dr Tong completed a clinical fellowship in Cardio-Oncology and Echocardiography at Royal Brompton & Harefield hospitals, London (2023–2024). She holds EACVI Adult TTE/TOE certifications, is an ASCeXAM diplomate, and attained MBBS (NUS) and MRCP (UK). She is core faculty for the NHG Health Cardiology Senior Residency Programme, and serves as a clinical tutor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
She provides patient-centred, evidence-based cardiovascular care, combining imaging precision with team-based decisions to support each patient through their cancer and cardiac journey.
