Dr Tan Zi Kheng is a Consultant at the Department of Renal Medicine in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) with experience in the management of patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases. With a core focus on kidney replacement therapies, Dr Tan has developed a particular interest in haemodialysis, providing patient-centred care for individuals requiring long term dialysis support.

In clinical practice, Dr Tan oversees comprehensive renal services, including the assessment and management of complex kidney disorders, dialysis access care and multidisciplinary coordination for patients with end stage renal disease. In addition to hospital-based practice, Dr Tan also serves as a Visiting Consultant at the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), a voluntary welfare organisation where she provides clinical oversight and support for patients receiving outpatient dialysis treatment.

Dr Tan also actively contributes to professional education, mentoring junior doctors and dialysis nurses. She also participates in departmental audits and research focused on improving patient outcomes in dialysis.
