Biodata

Dr Adrian Tan is a Family Physician, Senior Consultant in the Continuing and Community Care Department at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and serves as the Deputy Director of the Home Ventilation and Respiratory Support Service (HVRSS – Community). His core work focuses on advancing integrated community-based care, chronic disease management, and respiratory support for patients in home and community settings.

Dr Adrian Tan provides clinical leadership and consultation for the HVRSS Home Medical service and inpatient referrals. He is a Consultant at the TTSH Integrated Care Hub and a Visiting Consultant to nursing homes, centre-based care facilities, and community hospitals. He also runs clinics in Sleep Medicine and Integrated Family Physician Clinic. His special interests include community medicine and home medical care, tracheostomy and gastrostomy management, home ventilation support, respiratory secretion management, and the integration of geriatric, palliative, and rehabilitative care in the community.

His professional interests also extend to point-of-care ultrasound, sleep medicine, and capacity building among healthcare professionals and caregivers.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr Adrian Tan is an active educator involved in the training of medical students, pharmacists, nurses (including advanced practice nurses), allied health practitioners and residents from Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, and Emergency Medicine.
