Dr Tai Yinxia is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Renal Medicine in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). Her clinical practice covers general nephrology and peritoneal dialysis, with a focus on the long-term management of patients with chronic kidney disease.

She also serves as a Senior Consultant for the hospital’s Peritoneal Dialysis Programme, with key interests in holistic dialysis care, prevention of dialysis-related complications, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and outcomes in kidney care.

Dr Tai was awarded the ASEAN Scholarship for Medicine and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), in 2011. She obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) and a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine in 2014, before achieving specialist accreditation in Renal Medicine in 2017.

A passionate advocate for medical education, Dr Tai contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate education through clinical tutoring, Objective Structure Clinical Examination (OSCE) coordination, continuing medical education planning, and supervision of students and residents. In 2024, she received the NHG Health Senior Doctor Teaching Excellence Award in recognition of her commitment to teaching excellence.

Dr Tai is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred renal care that combines clinical excellence with compassionate communication, empowering patients and families to be active partners in their treatment journey.
