Biodata

Adj A/Prof Seow Cherng Jye is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Endocrinology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He holds an Adjunct Associate Professorship with both NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. In addition, he is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) and the American College of Endocrinology.

After completing his Endocrinology Specialist training in 2013, he was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan Scholarship to do a fellowship on Insulin Pumps and Brittle Diabetes Management at Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA in 2015/2016. He subsequently did a clinical attachment at Mayo Clinic, USA in 2017 on managing complex cases in Endocrinology. Upon his return, he started the Brittle Diabetes clinic focusing on the use of technology in patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. In addition to General Endocrinology Clinics, he also runs the joint HIV-Endocrine clinic at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases as well as manage patients with Gender Dysphoria.

Adj A/Prof Seow has an avid interest in medical education. He was previously the Programme Director of the NHG Health Endocrinology Senior Residency Programme from 2018-2024, mentored multiple undergraduate students and post graduate doctors and won more than 30 teaching awards in the last decade.
