Biodata

Adjunct Associate Professor Monica Chan is Senior Consultant in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the National Centre for Infectious Diseases.

Adj A/Prof Chan graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK with BMedSci (1st) and BMBS (Hons) in 2002, completed her MRCP (UK) in 2005 and completed her Advanced Specialist Training in Infectious Diseases in 2011. She received a Masters of Clinical Investigation from the National University of Singapore in 2011. She received the Health Manpower Development Plan fellowship from Ministry of Health in 2013.

Adj A/Prof Chan is an educator with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, and was previously the Infectious Diseases Senior Residency Programme Director from 2014 to 2019. She was appointed Head, Department of Infectious Diseases, Tan Tock Seng Hospital since 2019 and Head, Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy Clinic since 2013. Her areas of interests include outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy and bone and joint infections.​
