Biodata

Dr Low Jee Keem is a Senior Consultant specializing in open and minimally invasive, Hepato-Pacreatico- Biliary and General surgery. He graduated from University Sheffield Medical School and completed the specialist surgical training in United Kingdom. He has been admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, England, and England (Gen Surgery). After completing a basic science research on Protein and Cell Treatment in Liver Disease, at the Department of Medicine/Centre for Hepatology, Royal Free and University College Medical School, London, he was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Subsequently, he spent another year as a Fellow in Living and Deceased donor Liver transplant at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taiwan) supported by Royal College of Surgeons, England, Ethicon Foundation Travelling Fellowship and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Scholarship.

He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (National University of Singapore)MBBS examiner and a core faculty for NHG Health surgical residency. Dr Low initiated and helped set up the pre-habilitation program (Recovery Of Surgery in Elderly, TTSH) for elderly/frail patients undergoing major abdominal surgery. He has been involved in research, publications, and clinical innovations in HPB surgery.
