Biodata

Dr Lim Ru Sin is a Consultant at the Department of Renal Medicine in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) with clinical expertise in glomerular disease, genetic kidney disease, and chronic kidney disease. Her practice focuses on managing complex kidney conditions across all stages, with a growing emphasis on integrating genomic medicine into nephrology care. She aspires to improve diagnostic accuracy and long-term outcomes in patients with inherited and immune-mediated kidney conditions.

Dr Lim provides a wide range of renal services, including outpatient consultations and inpatient care. Her subspecialty interests lie in glomerular disorders and genetic kidney diseases, where she combines evidence-based approaches with genomic tools to offer personalised care. She is actively involved in service development and research, including the implementation of multidisciplinary kidney genetics clinics.

She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and postgraduate qualifications including the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and Master of Public Health (MPH). Dr Lim completed a nephrogenetics fellowship in Australia and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) and the Royal College of Physicians, London (FRCP). Her work has been recognised with the Ministry of Health’s Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Fellowship in 2023 and the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Research Training Fellowship in 2024.
