Adj A/Prof Ian Leong is a Senior Consultant in Integrative & Community Care. His interests are in the areas of palliative care, pain in the elderly and community geriatrics. His main work is in the provision of geriatric care outside the hospital, especially in the care of older people in nursing homes. He teaches undergraduates the sociological aspects of medicine at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, helps postgraduates develop skills to think in systems, and trains community providers in care management skills.
