Biodata

Dr Lavenia Kulendran is a Consultant with the Department of Medical Oncology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore, with visiting consultant appointments at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Woodlands Health. A graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, where she earned her MB, BCh, BAO (Hons), Dr Kulendran has developed a distinguished career dedicated to advancing cancer care. Her work spans the management of complex oncological cases in tertiary centres and the establishment of new oncology services in peripheral hospitals where she has played a pivotal role in expanding systemic therapy options and patient safety measures.

Her clinical expertise is complemented by a deep commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration. As a member of the Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium and the Singapore Society of Oncology, Dr Kulendran contributes actively to advancing cancer research.

Beyond her clinical and research contributions, Dr Kulendran is deeply passionate about medical education. As a Core Clinical Faculty Member of the Medical Oncology Senior Residency Programme and an Adjunct Lecturer at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, she mentors the next generation of oncologists with a focus on clinical excellence and empathy.
