Adj Asst Prof Joanne Kua is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Her subspecialty interest is in Falls and Balance, where she previously served as Head of Service.

She pursued her further studies in active ageing and through her role as the Education and Learning Lead for Institute of Geriatrics and Active Ageing (IGA), has designed active ageing courses for the older adults.

She was also conferred her Masters of Science in Health Professions Education and recently completed her term as the Programme Director of the NHG Geriatric Senior Residency Programme.
