Dr Benjamin Khoo is a Consultant in Renal Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospita (TTSH), where he has served since 2012. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2009 and completed his nephrology training in Singapore in Renal Medicine in 2018. He holds a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). Dr Khoo has developed expertise in Critical Care Nephrology and serves on the Intensive Care Unit Committee, having completed a Health Manpower Development Award Fellowship in Critical Care Nephrology at St Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Canada in 2022-2023. He also serves as a Visiting Consultant for the National Kidney Foundation, providing comprehensive care to patients requiring haemodialysis.

As Assistant Chief Clinical Informatics Officer and Health Informatics Network Lead at TTSH, Dr Khoo leads initiatives to optimise healthcare delivery through technology. He served as the Nephrology Clinical Lead for the transition to Epic electronic health records and is actively involved in utilizing skills learned as an Epic Physician Builder to improve patient care. He is committed to advancing clinical informatics and has a Harvard EDX Professional Certificate in Data Science.

Dr Khoo is actively engaged in medical education, holding appointments as Clinical Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Adjunct Lecturer at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. His dedication to teaching has been recognised with multiple awards, including the National University of Singapore Medsoc Outstanding Tutor Award in 2018. His research contributions span clinical nephrology and healthcare quality improvement, with notable achievements include receiving the Top 3 Oral Presentation award at the 2024 Agency for Care Effectiveness Value-Based Healthcare Conference.
