Biodata

Dr Janine Kee is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Psychiatry. Her clinical practice spans inpatient, outpatient, and consultation–liaison psychiatry, with a special interest in geriatric psychiatry.

Since 2020, she has served as Associate Program Director of the National Psychiatry Residency Program and is a Core Clinical Faculty Member for TTSH’s Postgraduate Year 1 Programme. Her educational interests include simulation-based communication training, assessment and professionalism standards, physician wellbeing, and professional identity formation. She completed her Master of Health Professions Education in 2024.

Dr Kee is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. She has received the NHG teaching award for Junior Clinicians, TTSH Top 20 Educators Award and was a recipient of the NHG Education Theme Grant Award.

Within the institution, Dr Kee has contributed to staff engagement and quality service initiatives. Her clinical philosophy emphasises collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork and the delivery of effective, timely care, while advocating for patients’ best interests.
