Dr Huang Wenjie graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2007. He obtained his MRCP (UK) in 2011 and finished his cardiology traineeship in 2014. After completing clinical postings in intensive care medicine, he obtained the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) in 2017. Subsequently, he pursued a clinical fellowship in Zurich University Hospital and obtained both the Diploma Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT) in 2018. He also did a clinical fellowship focusing on extracorporeal membranous oxygenation (ECMO) with the cardiothoracic surgical ICU in National Taiwan University Hospital. He joined the Cardiology Department of Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) in 2011, and is now a Senior Consultant who takes care of patients in the cardiac intensive care unit (CICU) and does cardiac nuclear and CT scans for the patients. He participated as principal and co-investigators for international clinical trials.
