Dr Jerome Goh Hern Yee is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist with the Department of Psychiatry at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). He previously served as Clinical Director of TTSH’s Division of Central Health (2021–2024), where he led multidisciplinary teams providing transitional and community-based care, and worked with community partners to support population health initiatives. He was the Clinical Director for Mental Health Integration at NHG Health (2024-2025), and a member of NHG Health Mental Health Integration Steering Committee.

Prior to joining TTSH, Dr Goh was a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), a member of IMH’s Quality Council, and served as Chief of the Department of Forensic Psychiatry from 2011 to 2021. In this role, he developed and led multidisciplinary teams in forensic psychiatric services in IMH and prisons, contributed to forensic service development, promoted training on core forensic skills i.e. forensic risk assessment and management, and gave teachings on Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act and Mental Capacity Act. He has also provided psychiatric input to government agencies on mental health and criminal legislations and criminal justice frameworks, and furnished expert opinions to the Courts as an expert witness.

He is actively involved in medical education and holds academic appointments as Adjunct Assistant Professor with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Clinical Senior Lecturer with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is a recipient of the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence (AY2009/2010). He is also a recipient of the Healthcare Humanity Awards (2016).

Dr Goh is the President of the Singapore Psychiatric Association, a Council Member of the College of Psychiatrists, and serves on the advisory panels of Singapore Armed Forces and Singapore Prisons Service on psychiatric issues. He also volunteers as a board member of a community mental wellness organization and has been giving public talks on mental health and wellbeing.
