Biodata
As a Senior Consultant in General Medicine, Endean's main clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical diseases. He has a special interest in Acute Medicine and is the founder and Head of the Acute Internal Medicine Service in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is also the founder and Clinical Lead for Mobile Inpatient Care for TTSH and the NHG Health. Responsible for the delivery of medical education to local and overseas under- and post-graduates, he conducts clinical tutorials and lectures to a wide range of audiences.
He is an examiner for MBBS and MD programmes at NUS, NTU, and Duke-NUS. Internationally, he is an MRCP (UK) Clinical Examiner and the Singapore representative for the Acute Medicine Specialty Certificate Examination for the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom. He is currently the chairperson of the Internal Medicine Residency Advisory Committee, co-chairperson of the Cluster Committee for Advanced Practice Nurse Competencies for NHG Health, the Singapore Regional Advisor for the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and a member of the Complaints Panel at the Singapore Medical Council.
