Dr Vanessa Chong is a Consultant Haematologist with a special interest in thrombosis and myeloproliferative neoplasms. She sits on the editorial board for the international journal "Seminars in Thrombosis and Haemostasis" and has spoken at various GP forums pertaining to the management of thrombosis and bleeding complications. She is adept at performing procedures such as bone marrow examinations and intrathecal chemotherapy administration.

Dr Chong has served as the TTSH Quality Review Officer and is now heading the TTSH Medication Safety Team (MST) for the Haematology department. She is also actively engaged in the education of medical students and junior doctors. Her current teaching appointments include Adjunct Lecturer at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), LKCMedicine mentor for Young Medical Educator Programme and National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Medicine clinical mentor.

Dr Chong believes in providing holistic, cost-efficient and safe care to patients.
