Dr Daniel Chin is an Associate Consultant with the NHG Eye Institute at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Dr Chin completed his undergraduate medical training at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He subsequently joined ophthalmology residency training at the NHG Health and served as Assistant Chief Resident and Assistant Chief Senior Resident during his residency. He was awarded the Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) in 2022 and is a fellow of both the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK).

Dr Chin is active in research, having published in several peer reviewed ophthalmology journals and sharing his research at international conferences.

Dr Chin also participates actively in medical education. He is currently a clinical tutor with both the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. His areas of clinical interest include Oculoplastics Surgery, Cataract surgery and General Ophthalmology.
