Adj Prof Chin Jing Jih drives strategic initiatives to deliver appropriate and value-based care, improve patient access, and ensure sustainable models across NHG Health’s care ecosystem. He also oversees the professional development of the cluster’s clinical groups and fosters a strong academic culture to support innovation, including in artificial intelligence. A Senior Consultant in Geriatric Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Prof Chin previously served as TTSH’s Chairman of the Medical Board and led its Division of Integrated and Community Care. He is the Founding Director and now Advisor of the Institute of Geriatrics and Active Ageing, which champions the well-being of senior adults. An educator and thought leader in medical ethics, he holds academic appointments at NTU, NUS, and the NUS Centre for Biomedical Ethics. Prof Chin plays a key role in national healthcare policy, currently chairing the MOH Healthcare Ethics Capability Committee and serving on multiple ethics, advisory, and disciplinary panels. His contributions span clinical, professional, and research ethics, reflecting a deep commitment to upholding excellence in Singapore’s healthcare system.
