Dr Chen Weiliang Abel is a Consultant at the TTSH Department of Endocrinology with a clinical interest in Thyroid disorders. He graduated with an MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 2012 and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2016. He was accredited as a specialist in Endocrinology in 2020.

Dr Chen is actively involved in Education (in his capacity as the Associate Programme Director for NHG Health Internal Medicine Residency; and clinical lecturer for YLL and LKC School of Medicine) as well as Quality-related work (in his capacity as a Consultant in Clinical Standards and Improvement).

He has a special interest in Thyroid disorders and runs the Thyroid Clinic in the Department of Endocrinology.
